Student-Radio Offers A Variety Of Public Service Announcements!

Public Service Information:  All PSA's (Public Service Announcements) automatically air each hour, providing vital information to students and the local community.  PSA's covering the following important topics can be heard on Student-Radio:

Emergency Service:  With early warning, regular storm and hurricane safety advisories, our community becomes a safer place for all.
Through direct communications with the Hernando County Emergency Management Center in Brooksville, Student-Radio is ready to provide vital news and information to the local community in the event of a major storm or disaster.

Funding Information:   Funding to cover operating costs for the radio station are primarily received in the form of tax deductible donations and grants from private organizations and local businesses.  Equipment to operate the station may also be received in the form of tax deductible donations from already established broadcast stations, who have recently upgraded their facilities and no longer have a need for the equipment being donated. 

Further funding for Student-Radio is also available through fund drive promotions in the form of, but not limited to: student car wash events,
cake sales, and on-air station fund raisers, with all proceeds benefiting the Student-Radio fund.

About Us:  Our Board consists of established broadcast professionals who want to share their career experiences with the next generation of radio broadcast professionals!  Members of our Board are broadcast industry professionals, or licensed Amateur Radio Operators.  Because of this, T-BES has the resources to offer students a rewarding educational experience.
